Property Covered
The K-12 laptop insurance policy covers all types of computers (MacBooks, Netbooks, Notebooks, Smartbooks, Tablets, Desktops, Kindle, etc.) that you personally own or lease, including school issued laptops entrusted to you, WORLDWIDE. These include:

During the policy period, we will cover loss due to accidental damage (optional), theft, vandalism, fire, flood, power surge due to lightning and natural disasters to the insured laptop, except as excluded in the "Special Provisions" section below. There is no coverage for mysterious disappearance (unless stolen), mechanical or electrical breakdown, wear or tear, corrosion and rust, nuclear war or government seizure.
Please note: One K-12 laptop insurance policy will cover one laptop/desktop computer. If you own more than one laptop/desktop computer you will need to take out a policy for each one you want insured.

Special Provisions
- DVDs, CDs, video games, or any other items not listed in the above list of "property covered".
- Software: Loss or damage to software is limited to $1,000 for any one loss.
