During the policy period, we will cover loss due to theft, fire, flood or natural disasters to personal property you own or have leased -- including items entrusted to you, WORLDWIDE, except as excluded in the "Property Not Covered" and "Special Provisions" sections. There is no coverage for mysterious disappearance (unless stolen), accidental damages, mechanical or electrical breakdown, wear or tear, corrosion and rust, nuclear war or government seizure.
Property Not Covered
Some items are excluded from coverage:
- Automobiles, motorcycles, boats, motors, aircraft or aircraft parts of any other type of conveyances or their accessories (including car stereos, GPS devices, etc)
- Transportation tickets or other tickets
- Salesmen's samples
- Merchandise for sale or exhibits
- Money in currency or coin, evidences of debt, letters of credit, passport documents, notes, or securities
- Animals
- Contact lenses
- Artificial teeth or limbs
- Firearms or ammunition
- Pharmaceuticals, prescription or over-the-counter
- Artwork, professional or amateur
- Antiques and collectibles.
Special Provisions
- Coverage for loss or damage to disks (including CDs, video CDs, DVDs, MP3s, and video games), records, albums, and/or cassette tapes (including videotapes) is limited to $1,000 for any one loss.
- Coverage for furs, jewelry, watches, rings, and other items consisting of gold, silver, or platinum is limited to 20% of the policy amount (i.e., a $2,000 policy allows $400 total jewelry coverage) for any one loss.
- Coverage for a bicycle is limited to $500.
